The general body holds ultimate authority over the organisation's mandate and approves the annual report. It meets on a fixed annual schedule.

How Sonartori is governed
Our governance arrangements are written down, reviewed annually and available on request to communities, partners and regulators.
Executive committee
The executive committee is elected from the general body and is responsible for strategy, financial oversight and the appointment of senior staff.
Programme management
Day-to-day delivery is managed by programme staff, who report against agreed plans and are subject to internal review each cycle.
Safeguarding and conduct
A written safeguarding policy, code of conduct and conflict-of-interest declaration apply to all staff, volunteers and committee members.
Complaints and feedback
Communities can raise a concern in person, by telephone or in writing. Complaints are logged, acknowledged and reported to the executive committee.
